There are reports that special counsel Jack Smith is going to be indicting Trump for crimes related to January 6th as early as next week. Theres a possibility that he wants to get his indictments out before Fulton County, GA DA Fani Willis does hers. The big mystery here is how many other people hell be indicting.

And then the following week is the beginning of Fani Willis 7/31 - 8/18 time frame where she said she expects to announce indictments for the investigation into election interference in Georgia. The foreman of the special purpose grand jury that worked from May of 2022 to January of 2023 said its not a short list of people they recommended for indictments. Willis currently has a grand jury (some reports are that she has two grand juries) meeting right now to review evidence and theyll be voting on indictments in the next few weeks. Willis has asked Fulton County courts to not schedule any cases, hearings, etc. for that 7/31 - 8/18 time frame. That means she expects to be indicting a lot of people and will need that time to run them through the arraignments and any other pre-trial hearings.

And then Michigan AG Dana Nessel recently announced charges for the 16 fake Trump electors for their state. The first court date for this is on August 10th. One of the fake electors, Michele Lundgren, seems to be freaking out about the idea of spending the rest of her life in prison.

Can't remember a time when it wasn't crazy really.
