Actually thought I was going to make it an entire year without purchasing a new game. I still might, but that's going to be pretty hard to pass up at launch.

Pretty obvious it's gonna be him after this trailer? If it's not Harry it's Norman.

Seems like Venom wants to spread the symbiote across New York to save people. Probably because it cures Harry's disease. Sounds like that will be this games climax like the virus was for SM1.

I still hate Peter's face.

Regarding the Peter's face thing...at least it fits a little better here than on the first game. That one was jarring because they already had established facial mocap on the original model. And also next-gen power polishing up the new face.

I can't wait though, this looks like it'll be great.

Edit: I actually didn't expect them to nearly overhaul MJ. She looks good.

Better be a boss fight as Miles against symbiote Peter where he Vergil slow walks towards you at the start.

I was pretty down on the new face, but it looks a lot better here. He doesn't look fourteen anymore and he's a liiiiittle bit goofier looking.

I only say Norman because they make it seem really obvious in the trailer that it's Harry. I'm ready for their tricks.

It would be a twist, plus it would throw mud in the eye of Spidey's biggest critic to have his kid get stopped/saved by the guy he hates most.

In the comics, one of his first adventures, he rescued Jameson's son, and Jameson still didn't care. He accused Spider-Man of setting up the whole situation so he could look like a hero

yes he does have villains with no personal ties to him

most of his original foes really fit that mold

and well you see how well most of those characters have aged

only sandman has stood the test of time as a major villain
