Oh I'm sorry, does you not liking how the show ended suddenly render them officially non-canon? That's not how that works. The official live-action adaptation has ended and has finished, while the source material novels have not. So until the book series has been completed, the show is the definitive version of the story. Facts. The show is the definitely version of Game of Thrones.
