The series being classic in nature is why I'll never enjoy it for anything other than visuals, music and such. I'm very much in the camp of modern games being better then retro due to quality of life improvements, and menu based battles will never appeal to me again outside of Pokemon series and that's admittedly entirely because of nostalgia for me. I know theres a lot of complaints about Act III, but I thought the game was amazing the whole way through.
