Threads is extremely feature bare and exists only to shove influencers and brand accounts in your face. Bluesky looks the most promising as an actual Twitter successor to me but of course it's still in closed beta. I could try and get a invite but I think I'll wait until it goes public. As for Threads, it feels like Meta is trying to do something a bit too different for it to ever replace Twitter. I have heard good things about it though.
