not sure if these are still super common in new cars. I know that many hondas had them in like the 2000s or the 2010s. This is where if you're battery is disconnected then you must enter a code to get it to work again

No. No one's gonna steal the stock radio from an old car these days (unless it's as part of stealing the entire car, which the code won't prevent). It just means annoyance if the battery goes flat or if you have to install a new one.

No, I have a big 'ol FORD SYNC 2 screen in my '14 Fusion. The software for that shit is slow as hell and barely works with modern phones.
