It's not for ED. It's for the added testosterone IIRC. Makes them eager to fight if they can't fuck.

That the US military is spending more money than probably thousands of people will have in their life time on boner pills. Imagine if we could spend that on just about anything else.

The US military pays for medications for it's service men and women. That's one of the benefits of being in the military, isn't it?

There are blocks against that, but the DoD does pay for up to three weeks leave to allow for service members to travel for an abortion if needed.

That's like $4 per male soldier/officer per year.

idk how much a Viagra prescription goes for, or how widespread it is, but that doesn't seem super unreasonable.

Not that we shouldn't be repairing bridges, too. But the idea that we need to cut the military budget, and especially the military healthcare budget, to do so is a false dichotomy. We can afford to have a world-class military and a world-class healthcare system and world-class infrastructure. We simply have chosen not to.

In fact, states with anti-abortion laws are being overlooked for new development because it negatively affects unit readiness.

Viagra is heart medication. The erection was an unintentional side effect but ended up being worth more money for that purpose.

I'm assuming that means that their health insurance is paid for by the government and it covers Viagra.

Don't see a problem with that. My wife is in the uniformed service so we have Tricare and they pretty much pay for all of our health care needs including our 2 kids.

Does this genius think 46 million dollars is a lot of money? Sure it is, to an individual person, but to the Pentagon it is less than pocket change. Also, the DOD has hundreds of thousands of employees, the fact that they only spend 46 million dollars a year on it either means that Viagra is extremely cheap, or they get one hell of a volume discount.
