I just spend 30 dollars on Tunic, and that is the sale price. it is good but seems like more of a $10-15 dollar kind of good.

I got it in some bundle or other, but I haven't played it yet. I do plan to, though, since I'm definitely interested in it.

The bundle is $10. I'll see if I can budget it in before the sale ends.

I bought it a few years ago. Played it for like 12 hours. Game's well made, it just didn't hold my interest.

Been wondering for the longest time what specific game the style is reminding me of, and then when I thought I did, I instead remember soldier NPCs in purple uniforms and I am still uncertain what game that is. (Could just be CT though, need to check)

Definitely CT, did not realize the present day Guardia soldiers were so modern looking. Also, it is CT style, with Terranigma movement while NPCs stand still I think.

Edit: Guessing that the actual RPG elements are hidden behind an extensive tutorial/intro sequence? Kinda weird that the Steam tags feel like a lie so far. (3 RPG tags, yet not a single "Twin-Stick Shooter" tag.

It's more like if Zelda ALttP was also a JRPG + Twin Stick Shooter. Can't tell if it really resembles CT, since I haven't played it

You have stats, equipment with stats and perks, a skill tree that acts like a series of 'Option A or Option B' path of learn (with the ability to change back and forth)

Good Equipment and understanding your enemy/objective is more important than levels. You get party members who are actually useful

The Twin Stick part blends extremely well between combat, puzzles, and general gameplay like shooting plants. Game is pretty fast paced, but you can slow it down if you need too

It might not be for everyone, but I absolutely loved it. It's one of those games where you are kinda blown away how a small team made it, with how polished and crafted it is.

The combat speed is fine, I just have extreme difficulty with what effectively are two forms of movement at the same time.

But luckily, puzzles have all the time in the world to aim and combat does not rely heavily on carefully aiming the balls.

Great game, especially if you love puzzles. Fortunately, there are sliders that can be adjusted for every type of player.

I played the demo and bought it afterwards.
I will say, I did not like the controls at all. but the graphics and presentation are nice enough and $6 is $6.

Yes.

That was one of my bigger gripes about the game, despite the DLC being available to me at the time. Fortunately I still loved the game and greatly enjoyed the DLC
