Dry socket is killing me right now. I didn't even smoke or anything. Fuck man.

I'm better today I think. First day without taking pain killers but yesterday sucked major ass.

Double hernia surgery.
It wasn't that bad, but couldn't stand up straight and waddled around the house for two days. Felt like a preview of being an old man.

When the doctors accidentally popped my dislocated knee back into place.

I got turned into a newt one time

Having my appendix about to burst as a kid, because I was incorrectly diagnosed till I get a different opinion from a different doctor. Luckily.

Back when i was a fat fuck and had gout. I felt like i broke my big toe in half. Couldnt even let a breeze blow on it without being in complete agony.

Lot a ton of weight and changed habits right after that experience.

Kidney stones
The first time was the worst because I also didn't know wtf it was. So I assumed that I was dying. I can generally function through pain, but this shit took me down to the floor.

Pinched sciatica

pneumonia or infected tooth, both terrible in their own ways.

Accidentally shredded all the skin off my knees and upper shins when I was 12, made a huge bloody mess.

Woke up one morning like a decade ago and I couldn't move my neck without feeling intense pain. I legit thought I was gonna black out from it multiple times. Took me like 20 minutes to get out of bed

Second was when I probably cracked my tailbone in football and couldn't sit down right for a couple of months

When I was a kid (12 IIRC?) I had to have a hole drilled on my hard palate because I had a tooth there that I needed to put a bracket on, to pull it to its position with braces over time. There was some sort of cement that had to be placed there to avoid the whole closing between the surgery and the ortodontist visit.

The cement thing fell off and I had to go on a weekend to some random urgency dental care clinic and all they had was some puddy that they put by force on the hole. I declined anesthesia because it hurt so bad during the surgery I thought it'd be the better choice. To this day I'm not unsure if it was or not, as they both hurt like a motherfucker. The "whole in my palate bone trying to close itself shut" pain lasted through the whole weekend though, I remember I was exhausted of just existing.

Also had some very painful Charley Horses and recently I had a rotator cuff injury that woke me up at 5 AM and I couldn't fall asleep again due to the pain, was almost in tears.

So yeah between those 3.

Intestinal gangrene.

Getting stabbed in my front thigh back in the fourth grade followed by getting shot in my right arm in high school.

This is up there for me. Took me like 30 minutes to coax piss out without straining/hurting.

Moved the wrong way once when the pain med dose was tapering off...hurt like a bitch but faded quick.

Severe constipation/gas is up there too.

I've never done worse in injury then a strain or bad toe stubbing except one head injury that needed a few stiches(and a hand on glass but I was like 2 so I don't remember). Honestly barely even hurt. Passed out for a few seconds, and there was little pain when waking.

Back pain from sleeping in a dumb position. Was completely incapacitated. Trying to go the 8 feet or so from my bed to my bathroom to piss was a 20 minute excruciating affair.

Hard to say but a few contenders:

1. Kidney stones
2. Running after an orchidectomy and accidentally ripping the stitches out.
3. Arthritis flare ups
4. I took a knee to the bottom of the back once, which for some reason made almost all of my muscles spasm for about 45 minutes until an ambulance came and they gave me some sort of tranquilliser. The build up of pain there was gradual as all of my muscles became increasingly fatigued, but by the end, it was agony.

Severely dislocated my knee a couple of years ago, in emergency when they were moving me to the bed somebody moved my leg wrong, things went just to insane pain and I involuntarily screamed out. Many nurses rushed to my bed, apparently the sound I gave out was what they associate with a 10/10 in the pain scale.

There was no ramp up at all, I was probably around a 3 and it instantly shot to 10, thankfully only for an instant. I really feel for people who experience that level of pain over a prolonged period.

I swear, even hopping on one leg with a paramedic holding me up didn't bring me anywhere close to that pain I felt. I don't think it even hurt that much when it happened but that could have been the adrenaline and shock numbing the pain then.

When I had viral meningitis, I had to get a spinal tap. It was only a few seconds, but that was the worst pain I've ever felt.

Fracture in my foot. Just stabbing pain in waves coming and going

When I broke my leg. Especially at the hospital when they were moving it around trying to get an x-ray. So much fun

getting hit there hurts but it's a temporary pain unless you suffer a serious injury

Broke radius and ulna simultaneously at 10 years old. It was not great.

Haven't really had many physical injuries, but this one time, I woke up and had to throw up. Weird. I went back to sleep, and twenty minutes later, I had to throw up again. And again. And again. And again. I couldn't stop throwing up. I wasn't really drinking anything else at the time. I figured, if I have nothing to throw up, I won't.

And that was the day I learned what dry heaves were. Felt like my entire torso and organs were just being constricted.

Sounds like the doctor fucked up. LPs aren't pleasant but they're not supposed to be that painful.

I got backed over by a car when I was 8 years old. Now while I don't quite remember the pain of the car tire going over my back (I was face down in the dirt and I am assuming the shock and adrenaline just made me ignore the pain while it was happening. Only thing I remember is my mom understandably franticly crying, my dad also shaken up but also understandably ready to kill the dude that hit me, and every single doctor and nurse in the ER looking at me going holy shit because I was covered head to toe in blood), I actually do remember just how badly my right arm was fucked up for about a month.

To make me feel better after this car accident my dad bought me a SNES (the one with 2 controllers and super mario world) like 2 weeks or so after it released in NA. The bad part is that I could barely play it without pain everywhere, lol.

Chopped hot peppers and forgot to wash my hands before using the bathroom

The balls is the introduction to true pain, not the pinnacle. Unless someone smashes your nuts with a hammer. Or you have swollen nuts.

They were positioning me for the x-ray and accidentally straightened it out.
