It's the remastered version. I remember completely ignoring this when it came out, and I'm honestly surprised. There are so many nods to Stephen King and H.P. Lovecraft, both of whom I am a huge fan. Now I hear there's a sequel coming out soon?

I heard something about Remedy retconning their games to be in one universe. So, Max Payne, Alan Wake, Control and I think Quantum Break and their upcoming Vanguard all exist together. Not sure about other titles in their catalog. Control is pretty awesome imho.

I found the combat incredibly tedious and unfun, the game really could have used an upgrade system like Re4 or something.

Can they even do that with Max payne? Rockstar/take-Two has the rights to it.

Oh, I'm not sure. I'd read it somewhere but I'm fuzzy on the details. Might not include Max Payne...

I'll be honest, I got bored of it pretty quickly after the first hour. I gave it three more hours to pick up, but I never got the hook.
