turns out the island is just an island, you used to be able to exploit yourself there by glitching through the invisible wall, but now if you do it the game auto-reloads the last save as soon as you get anywhere outside the wall seems kinda dumb to just have a fully modeled thing just outside of the player space. could have been there for future content but looks like it's just abandoned now --- "It's not the harm to Sony we care about.
