I think she had to go to the hospital but more precautionary than anything since it happened on the job. My mom is a caretaker for a lady who I believe is bipolar and schizophrenic. Im not sure of the exact diagnosis but my mom would go and spend a few days a week with her to take care of her before being swapped out with another nurse/caretaker. The lady has been violent before but never at the nurses that go over. She would just have outbursts but not at any of them. So her social worker is a lady who's pregnant and the patient is obsessed with babies but since she cant take care of herself the family wont let her have a baby obviously. The social worker and my mom were catching up and talking about how exciting it is to have a baby etc. The patient overhears and loses her mind and tries to attack the social worker and my mom steps in to defend her because she couldn't let the lady get attacked and takes the beating for her. My mom is almost 70 years old and she's amazing for saving that lady. Thats my hero right there.
