Love freezing sports drinks and getting them to the point they arent quite frozen but just slush. Problem is unless I time it perfectly it can go too far and just go frozen.

Is there anything magic I can add to help them turn to slush but not freeze completely?

I know I can just mash them with a hammer or something but Im looking for something I can do and just put them in the freezer and have slush no matter how long I leave it in for.

Any ideas?

Get below the kitchen sink and open the drain pipe. Put a container below the open pipe. Put all your goodies and ice down the sink drain and hit that disposal switch!

Assuming you have a sink disposal, that is. Otherwise, this would just be ridiculous.

A timer. Your phone almost certainly has one. Generally 45 minutes to an hour to get in the slush zone with Gatorade or similar drinks.

Yeah I kinda do that already but sometimes after a night at the gym or playing sport I just want a slush I can take out the freezer I put in before I went out. I dont want to wait almost an hour lol.

I was hoping there was some sort of magic powder I could put in that would make the perfect slush but if the only real option is timing it then thats what Ill do and just suck it up.
