Here's how it works: The CE Steam Summer Sale Event 2023 will commence 10am PDT June 29. Post your Steam wishlist and maybe someone will buy you a game! Make sure your wishlist is set to PUBLIC. If you are gifted a game, post in this topic stating "[GameFAQs username] has gifted me [Name of game]". If we all follow the same format it will make for much easier record keeping. Gifts will be recorded on this Google Sheets worksheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1J46DGgbfcQyHImPLJTBlTNvHmTIMbJN8VhXE5fcbWb4/ Humble Keys will not be counted towards the final draw until 10am PDT July 6. Only keys given away on or after 10am PDT July 6 will count toward the final draw. For every five keys given away you will receive 1 entry into the final draw. Please mark posts for keys received as such for ease of record keeping (eg. "[GameFAQs username] has gifted me a key for [Name of game]"). This event will conclude at 2pm PDT July 9. Shortly after the final draw will be conducted. The number and value of prizes shall be determined on an ongoing basis as set by those wishing to contribute, and as such may not be finalised until the conclusion of this event. Note that to receive a gift card from the final draw you must be friends with the gift card giver on Steam for a period of 3 days (72 hours). This is a requirement of Steam and we have no control over this. As I am conducting this event and the final draw, unless otherwise stated on a prize by prize basis, I am excluding myself from any prizes so as to remain fully transparent and impartial. If you wish to contribute to the final draw please indicate here what your prize(s) will be. The prize worth the most shall be awarded to the person with the most gifts given. All other prizes shall be drawn randomly using an online random number generator pitted against the order of the gifts being given. Prizes shall be drawn from most value to least value. You may officially post your wishlist up to 3 times per topic. If you abuse this rule you will be found out and ridiculed extensively!! :P Continued violations of this rule may result in you being excluded from the final draw and/or the event. Note that wishlists in your sig are not counted as official posts. If you're not in the USA region codes/locking may prevent you from gifting users in certain countries and vice versa. The only real stipulation is that I am looking for a game that you have to actually solve the mystery/ies, the act of being a mystery as a theme isn't good enough (so something like Digimon Cyber Sleuth is not what I'm interested in at all). And if someone can get me a recommendation that I actually like (so whether or not this bit is relevant will probably happen well after this particular sale is over) I'll buy something for the recommender off their Wishlist. --- "A shouted order to do something of dubious morality with an unpredictable outcome? On board were 60 crew members and you need to ascertain the fate of each. As I said to Lokison, I am open to people having fun with their own giveaways for games or gift cards within the CE Steam Summer Sale Event 2023 where there is an element of skill involved such as what Priere did (tell me about your experience with a game within a specific genre and the most touching will win a game) or even like ArchangelBaruch did during the CE Steam Winter Sale Event 2022-2023 (the kinda sorta Humble Bundlish giveaway thingie), in fact I encourage this type of interaction within these topics.
