Really great movie too, but boy that one scene is enough to break you. Definitely well deserved win on Affleck's part. I knew he had potential as far back as Gone Baby Gone and Jesse James.

Just got done watching the movie, a really unsatisfying but realistic ending that makes sense within the context of the story

Yeah it was on my list to watch for a while, finally got around to it.

Saw that the audience was a lot lower than the critics score on RT, and I can kinda get it but the performances and characters really carry the movie, it's the kind of slow burn that still holds your attention

saw it in the theater with a q&a after ft. the writer/director and lucas hedges

great movie. affleck's performance is one of the best of the 2010s if not the best.

feel like it isnt as well remembered probably cuz of the controversy surrounding affleck. plus its an amazon movie and they don't really seem to have a large cultural cache with their movies/shows
