Gravik is actually a pretty dope villain. Kingsley Ben-Adir is too good in this role

I'm still kinda iffy on him being a compelling villain, but the way he delivered the "this is war" line during that meeting the previous episode started selling me on him. Curious to see if they manage to stick the landing as that has been a problem for pretty much every MCU series' villain at this point.

I really really want this to be good. MCU shows have a good habit on being compelling at the beginning and then failing to stick the landing by the finale. Really glad they went with a different vibe in this show. It still has some of its "MCU humor" moments, but at least it's really self-contained and not randomly thrown out there.

The two meeting scenes of Nick Fury with Talos and Rhodey were great. The actor playing as Gravik also did a good job with the meeting with the other Kree.

That's one thing this series definitely shares in common with Andor. The scenes of people literally just talking to each other are really good.

Oh fuck Rhodey is a Skrull!

This REALLY begs a lot of questions as to how long this has been the case.

You know, what would be a good change in pace for a MCU finale? If it wasn't a cgi fest and instead just people talking to each other in an engaging and gripping way like they did with the second episode? They should probably hire someone like Quinten Tarantino for that lol. I know a lot of people disagree with me about that though and I understand why.

Dude, that would be a big brain twist. I'm not sure if people would like that or not. I personally would lol.

I honestly need it to be the case. Why build an extensive universe filled with characters, create a show with this premise and then have all the imposters be characters specifically created for the show? That would just be dull.
But it's pretty much confirmed by Armor Wars being directly tied into this.

I had to rewatch the scene after reading your post since I didn't realize it was his voice lol.

I didn't realize it until I saw people saying it on Twitter. Then I listened to the voice and sure enough it's him lol

Another subtle clue: in the most recent episode, Fury says that nobody he knows personally is on a first name basis with him. But "Rhodey" in the previous episode refers to him as Nick
