Like it's such a hassle to deal with it'd expensive and it would be so much more convenient if I could just watch a movie in my room when it came out instead of waiting for it to come to streaming after the theaters had it for months

I get that but also seeing some movies in a giant theater with a crazy sound system with a ton of other fans is a thing. Maybe I only see weird shit but like there's a lot of films I enjoy in a theater because it's in a theater.

But if there's a movie I'd really like to watch I'd like to experience it in a non-garbage setting with a high quality projection and sound system beyond anything I could ever afford.

So I hope your dreams go unfulfilled.

I mean, you could just not go? It's usually less than 3 months before they go streaming now anyway

I think the last film I saw in a theatre was Deadpool 2

If movie theaters die out it will be entirely their own doing with their insane concession prices.
