So what does Strange's 3rd eye mean, is he gonna be a bad guy like the evil dr strange? The other post credits scene showed him yelling and stuff while his 3rd eye was manifesting all creepy like.

More importantly I almost completely glossed over Charlize Theron being in the movie first time I saw this scene, was too weirded out by the movie overall what with the weird camerawork and plot points like scarlet witch being just straight up murderous bad guy up until the ending where she's like "oh ok I'll stop da killing now"

Did she open a portal to... dormamu's dimension from the first movie? She even has purple eye makeup like the dormamu guys.

Yeah, Charlize's character was originally introduced in the comics as a denizen of the Dark Dimension. Her name is Clea. She's one of Strange's love interests and (I believe) Dormammu's daughter (or, may have been at some point).

As far as the third eye, your guess is as good as mine.

Oh right it actually is called the Dark Dimension. Ah so it's true it was that dimension we were looking into.

MCU got 2 powerhouses in Angelina Jolie and Charlize Theron, I wonder what an interaction between the 2 would be like.

Yeah, well, I never really liked the MCU's depiction of Dormammu or the Dark Dimension. So, I can't say I'm too jazzed about exploring it further. What they should've done is cast Ben Whishaw as Nightmare and built a film around that. But, whatever.

The eye is a nod to the comics. The Eye of Agamotto isn't a container for the Time Stone in the comics, but an actual magical artifact itself. Whenever Strange uses it to look past illusions and the like, he gets a magical eye on his forehead.

Symbolically, someone's "third eye" opening signifies an enlightenment/awakening of some kind. So at least at the moment I would guess that he will be able to tap into powers previously unknown?

Lol I love that phrasing.

So are they gonna bring back this universe's karl mordo and what he's been up to since the first movie's post credits scene? I'll admit that one was also pretty stupid just to have karl mordo be the bad guy like he is in the comics.
