Also fine if they hadn't tried to whitefy her. Would have looked hotter imo. Redcaps weren't a thing back then anyway. So the manufactured outrage wouldn't be there anyway.

It's okay to change things up. Zombie redcap individuals would have you think it's a sin. No objective innate "wrong" in it.

They're annoying asf. As an aside, for their screeching about "woke" is relevant.

Why did they only do it in the second movie and not the first, though? Did they only suddenly start caring for the second movie?

Honestly that seems like a waste when you can just find someone who already looks the part. And can act. Alba can't act so it was a waste of time and money to get her to look different. I would much rather have a good actor/actress who looks nothing like the part then a crap one who looks the part.

And not even much of one. Her breasts were not even consistent in the original. Her different models had different sized boobs.

In the second movie they edited her post production to look more white, have lighter hair, and have blue eyes.

Which is why I say there was no reason to do it. Nobody complained about how she looked in the first movie, and they clearly weren't worried about being super accurate then, so all they did was create inconsistency in the second.

I actually do remember that, there's been a lot of jokes about how some actors can't cry so they just give them fake tears that streak down their eyes while they look solemnly at their costars. Even jennifer connoly was one
