Chev427BB 07/01/23 10:59:07 PM #10:	Not yet, I had plans to go to Australia because I have lots of friends in Melbourne, but those plans fell through due to covid and about 3 years later I havent gotten around to rescheduling them. Did 5 years of the English teacher game in South Korea, married a kiwi I met there, then we moved here in 2018. Things that differ from the northern hemisphere: - sunlight is incredibly intense due to a few factors. The earth is naturally closer to the sun in January than it is in July. The ozone layer in the southern hemisphere is quite thin (thanks polluting Northern hemisphere). So if you go outside here from about October to March you'll feel your skin burning almost immediately, and you'll get a sunburn in about 15 minutes. In the northern hemisphere I'd only get a sunburn if I was out at the beach in August for like 2-3 hours. For me it's the worst thing about living here but I guess having to constantly seek out shade is better than worrying about health insurance or gun violence. - you can see the southern cross in the night sky, which you can't see in the northern hemisphere.
