Seems like tit-for-tat destuction of the few elements of structure in our government, elements that often play the role of tampening down governmental response to rapid shifts of policy due to elections and what not, might not have the desired goal.

We should want a government that responds, through policy, to elections. The alternative, where people come to realize that the government doesn't respond to elections, is a long road to a bad place.

Incrementalism has provided us with all of the progress that's been made over the past 80 years. A lot of that progress was destroyed when one particular bad actor gained power and started to do his best to remove all the restrictions that make incrementalism necessary. And he still wasn't able to do the damage he wanted because of what remained.

Sorry, you're full of shit. Incrementalism works by allowing long term legislation to work.

I remember some "leftists" blaming biden and Hillary when roe was overturned as well.

Biden was vice president when republicans refused to allow a vote on a SC pick as the constitution clearly states they were supposed to.
