There was too much yelling.

But it did deliver us one of the most epic one liners in MCU history.

Not perfect, but great.

I felt the way they handled Adam Warlock left a lot to be desired.

Adam Warlock is a completely wasted and pointless to the movie, that alone knocks it down a bit. Much better than Vol 2, but not as good as the original.

The real triumph is being the third movie in an MCU series that didn't attempt to escalate the stakes even further. In the first movie it was an infinity stone. In the second it was a living planet. If this was a normal MCU movie, in the third they would be fighting the living tribunal or something like that. Dialing it way back to being really more of a personal story about finding a cure for their injured friend that has them clash up against a mad scientist making artificial animal people is so refreshing of a change.

Yeah Adam Warlock felt like they put him in out of obligation not a desire to do anything with him.

But overall each Guardian Film is better than the last. And Guardians 3 is the best MCU film since Phase 3.

I wouldn't call it perfect, but it's about mid-phase 3 quality, which is generally good.

basically, I enjoyed it, and it made me feel like I shouldn't drop the MCU, despite how disappointing phase four was.

It felt at times that it didn't earn the emotional feels it was trying to pull from me, rather it was very manipulative. But overall it was a wonderful experience.

I like how they tied up the Gamora plot and Nebula was kind of effortlessly great in it. The High Evolutionary is one of the better one-off villains in the MCU.

They handled Adam Warlock exactly the way I hoped they would

he is just too OP of a character to take seriously or write well in a film like this, hopefully we get to see him as Magus though in a sequel
