The glitchyness on the Cinnibar coast got worse and worse until it hit critical mass and detonated destroying the island and everything on it. Why was the Unknown Dungeon entrance gone in the original gen 2 games? There was a guy nearby who'd go "Oh man there used to be a cave here. Really strong Pocket Monsters inside. Actually, Satoru Iwatas magical compression algorithm that allowed the Gen 2 games to have nearly all of Kanto inside them required a heavy human and Pokmon sacrifice to be made, thus the good folks of Cinnabar Island were the unlucky souls chosen to be sacrificed for the greater good of the rest of the region. --- "We're going to shake things up, Morgan.
