I think this might be the WWE2K killer

Nah, I don't hate AEW or anything, but the graphics and animation look like complete trash

Its getting 6/10 reviews so I dont even think its the WWE mobile game killer.

Despite the jank it looks like the closest thing to the old AKI engine games we've had in like 20 years.

The average review I been seeing is 7, maybe one or two being 8.

Even though ign gave it a 6/10 thats on par for most wrestling games so Ill be getting it.

I might still get it on sale at a later date but it's not a priority and never has been.

It looks fun, in a nostalgic way, but I don't think I would drop full price for it.

It doesnt look good and ima AEW Fan these days. but i can really only afford ine new game a year. Since games want you to buy $60 worth of extra shit on top of the price like bitch i got

-Utilities
-groceries
-too many apps (Spotify, Sling, NJPW World, Hulu, Disney +)
-entertainment
-random eating out
-weed

bruv these games are so expensive a fighting game is a tough sell since microtransaxtions ruined my fav genre of gaming. I still play DBFZ and Tekken cuz dammit I need my moneys worth! Also FF16 is out and I needz dat

It looks fine at best, but I might pick it up if it comes on a big enough sale.

Otherwise, I'm not as obsessed with pro wrestling as I was when I was a kid, so playing 2k22 every once in a while is still good enough for me.

And I have no real confidence trying to revive the style of a 30 year old game is going to bring the success some think it will. There's a reason there aren't many full priced games that focus on arcade-y style gameplay, and who knows if modern audiences will be as accepting of that as No Mercy was in the 90s.

in my teens and early 20s i had time to make entire feds in FPW an x division with every wrestler ever Super Dragon, HBK and AJ Styles. Now i barely have time for a rematch in 2k or a few GTA online missions
