It was very easily the most traumatizing thing that has ever happened to me. This is pretty normal as she often brings stuff back from her boyfriends family events. I took a big slice wtih some black raspberry ice cream and it was frankly delicious. YourBestFrenemy posted... Once I understood what was happening to me I just tried to spend the next several hours breathing and trying to avoid really negative thoughts. The Xanax they pumped in me helped a bit. Everything is exceptionally blurry by this point but I talked to a few nurses and doctors about what I was experiencing and it dawned on me eventually the brownies must have been edibles. My EKG was going pretty crazy for a while and I spent probably two hours convulsing while being barely conscious. The only major issue was my body was forgetting to breathe and nurses had to come in on a couple occasions to coach me through it. Once the convulsions passed and my EKG leveled out they discharged me. There's no real governing body for THC products, so all you have to go by is whether you choose to trust that the numbers listed on the packaging are accurate. I've eaten half of a big brownie and been fine, and I've had a quarter of a gummy and been miserable. I need to ease into being high, and at least with vaping/smoking I have some feeling of control over my intake. Edibles are too much of a crap shoot for me. --- The food here is terrible. I was just staring at the hallway nearly paralyzed and I would have things flicker into brief focus, feel a bunch of neurons try to "validate" what I was seeing, and try to make new connections based on if it was a "pattern" or not. I need to breath! After the nurse came in the first time I decided I needed to put a lot of conscious thought into breathing, and as it turns out, it took a lot of focus to do that! I love my wife. That was a thought that made me happy several times. I love butts. One of the nurses (Who I knew from high school) would occasionally walk by my door and she had a nice butt. That was a thought that made me happy several times. Aside from that there was just a lot of in-and-out of conscious thought. Since I could very barely speak, I spent a lot of time focusing on the staff's reaction to see how things were going. When my EKG started occasionally going haywire I would watch the nurses to see how bad it was--Thankfully I rarely got a glance over at me despite all the beeping and honking. Aside from that I could sometimes string together coherent thoughts for a few seconds, which helped me rationalize what was going on and avoid panicking. Oddly enough, my wife was never allowed in the room with me, and I found out why yesterday evening--A nurse in my E.R. was stabbed last week and they were revising their security measures. Felt like I had heightened senses of sight and sound. Pretty sure I had cases of hearing things not actually there too. I couldn't focus on a single thought to save my life, thoughts were running a thousand miles a second. When I finally laid down to go to sleep, I felt like I was in the movie "Get Out" and the sunken place. I couldnt fucking move my body which low key was scary. It was an.....interesting night to say the least. 2nd time I tried it, I took half to lower the psychedelic episodes and really nothing happened. 3rd time I tried it was a full gummy again. Visited my folks (idiotic choice imo). Shit kicked in out of no where while talking to my mother. I couldn't form a complete sentence, and mentally I thought I was having a stroke because my left arm was throbbing, and my muscles were...weird. I lied to my mother that I took some melatonin and that's why I had trouble focusing or continuing talking. Sleeping was a pain, because my mind was going a thousand miles a minute on complete paranoia and delusions. Stayed at my parents house to sleep because I was definitely unable to drive. Then I woke up with a massive headache in the morning.
