Say you had to battle a Terminator for whatever reason. How would you try to defeat it?

I'd probably use a car to drive right through it and then light the Terminator on fire with gas and a lighter. I don't know if I'd be able to defeat it, but that's a start. I guess I can try to locate the neural net processor and remove it to disable the machine as well.

I also know how to make a very basic boom boom nsa word (as does anyone with a basic knowledge of chemistry) but again I probably don't have a lot of time

Maybe just go for some armor piercing rounds that can punch through concrete, but going by the movie they couldn't really use bullets at all.

I guess I'll just be thankful that backwards time travel isn't possible. That would violate the laws of physics pretty hard.

ok, realtalk; I doubt anyone here could take down even a couple of hatchet men, let alone a hitman, let alonerone a terminator

But, if you have an idle terminator you just need to dispose of before it activates and kills everyone... the only thing I remotely have access to is a steam roller but IDK if they would work

Well I got plenty of guns and ammo but I doubt that would work. Shame my grinder isn't battery operated or I'd start with cutting parts of it off.

I would throw fire at it so its skin burned off. In the movies, their skin always seems to come off really easily. Once it's no longer able to blend in with people, I'd just run away until it drew attention to itself and got predator droned by the military or something.

Why would I spend my last few moments alive with a pathetic and desperate attemp to win a fight I cant possibly win?

Well the movies taught me to go to an industrial park.

If it was one of the Arnold Schwarzenegger type models, I figure it wouldn't be too hard. They're pretty slow, and also dumb. A big enough home made bomb, and / or a trap that puts it into a hydraulic press (like at the end of the first movie) would be enough to kill it.

However, if we're talking about the liquid metal ones like from Terminator 2 and onwards, good luck.

I've always thought it was dumb, because the question boils down to "is a sound defined as something someone heard or a soundwave that definitely existed"

And because language is fluid and only suits the needs of the user, you could say either is true depending on the culture that defines what a sound is.

In terminator 1 both were tried multiple times and didn't work. If we weren't all exterminated, I'd mourn for you. As for how to kill it, I would try to sever the skull from the body and then try to destroy the cpu inside the skull of the terminator. OF COURSE, easier said than done :(
