Disagree. I thought it was really cute and it did fun stuff with the animation. People praise Spiderverse and Puss 2 for the animation, but Turning Red has wacky stylized bits too that no one seems to care about. :/

I liked the first part felt like a new age teen wolf but I lost interest fast. Taking the story into it being about the mom and aunt wasnt interesting at all.

That meltdown was the best thing that came out of this movie

I love and appreciate damn near if not all forms of animation though. Only thing I love more is when there is opportunity for risk such as the first spider verse

I can't fathom the type of person someone must be to have such a strong negative reaction to this movie. Like the worst pixar movie I have watch elicited an "eh, that wasn't amazing".

I really enjoyed it

I thought it was fine. It's a cute, funny preteen movie. Maybe they should have waited a little longer after Encanto with the family conflict theme in both movies.

I thought it was really cute and it told a very personal story to many Asian North Americans who were growing up in the 90's.

I liked it.

my favorite parts were the ones where the lead and her friends were just goofing around, enjoying each other's company.

I feel like, besides the period stuff and growing into a giant red panda, it's one of those movies that can be relatable to most people.

It's nice to see red pandas finally getting their due.

I'm not sure that I want to associate them with bleeding vaginas, but it is nice for young girls to have that movie that says, "What you're going through is perfectly normal and don't let anyone make you feel guilty about it."

Personally, I have no interest in watching the movie. But I was never the target audience. It is a shame that Disney made them cut the lesbian romance though. I guess they kinda made up for it with that Buzz Lightyear movie, but that was probably their biggest slip-up since Solo.
