Remember how it was part of the hyped Capcom games for for GC? Like the others were pn 03 and some dragon game. I remember over on next gen gaming the GC posters hyped these games as proof of a third party Renaissance on the system. --- You know how fads are. Today it's brains, tomorrow, pierced tongues. An abridged history of waiting for a game. 2005-2006: Oh this is gonna be great, this is gonna be the one, I can't wait! 2007-2009: Wait, what if it's a Wii game? What if they mess it up with forced motion controls? It's kinda taking a while, what if that's what's causing the hold up? Clover's gone but Okami got a Wii re-release. What if VJ3's next? Okay come on, Xbox version! Still hyped! 2010-2012: They've still got it! He was in Tatsunoko vs Capcom and MVC3, neither had Dee Bradley Baker but hey, signs of life! Any day now! 2013-2016: This has become concerning. Cutting endings off and selling them back? Umbrella Corps existing? The SFxT DLC debacles? They're still capable of making this game, aren't they? ...Aren't they? 2017-2023: Look, I'd really just like some closure. I accept that modern Capcom making it means it won't be good. Make it terrible if you have to. I'm bored of the "Maybe the third threat is that there's no third game!" joke at this point. Could we just get this over with?
