I havent read the book and its been ages since I saw the movie, but didnt the movie (awesome as it is) kinda break the Aesop?

In the book, the problems arose from sparing expenses and Hammond was a hyper capitalist asshole.

In the movie it was just sabotage, wasnt it? The man cant play God theme doesnt hold up. Its just a zoo. Man could very easily play God over dinosaurs when someone isnt turning off the power grid on purpose.

The Dinos were breeding in the wild though even in the movie. Grant stumbled upon a raptor nest.

Ah, this is true. That would have probably become an issue down the line, and theyd have to make some tough decisions. But it wouldnt have been a catastrophic failure like the events of the movie.

The film hammers into the ground the fact that the park is fundamentally flawed on a lot of levels.

Nedry being an asshole isn't the only problem, the fact that it only takes one asshole -- and not even an employee, but a contractor -- to bring the park to its knees is a huge problem. Hammond even acknowledges this himself in the ice cream scene ("Next time it'll be flawless!")

But hell, even before then, the film's opening sequence shows a guy dying while trying to transfer a raptor (out of a pen they kept almost breaking out of, and into a pen they eventually did break out of).
Then you have a bunch of other random stuff not operating as intended or operating unsafely (e.g. car doors not locking).
The whole thesis of the film is that Hammond's control over the park -- and the dinosaurs -- was never as good as his claims and that sometimes natural forces simply can't be controlled.

As a side issue, the film implies but doesn't directly state or go into as much detail that the same issues from the novel, with Hammond screwing Nedry over (to the extent he basically blackmailed him into bankrupting his company to finish the Jurassic Park job after being deceitful during the bidding process).
