do you think she's pretty? iirc this movie was no. 1 this week, but didn't do great box office, just enough to be 1st.

I'm a fan of hers, looking forward to seeing it.

oh, that's what happens? what does it tell you about it, though? the premise didn't seem all that interesting to me.

I liked it.

It was #4 over the weekend though, possible it will be #3 when Sunday final numbers come in.

It seemed like a sell out movie. Like shes not getting good parts anymore so she needed to settle for a throwaway raunchy comedy.

It tells me that they've taken a highly unrealistic scenario, and then stripped the payoff that it should have, which undoubtedly means it won't have the charm, either.

how did you know this though, you've seen the movie?

That "payoff" wouldn't have made any sense in the context of the movie.

uh, from what I've seen of the trailers I gather the entire thing will be a disaster not a happy ending for the kid at all

i've seen a little bit of the trailers and it didn't seem to be mean spirited towards the kid at all...etc...

People should just see it if interested. Otherwise, quit guessing because the comments here are all inaccurate. It is handled well actually. My only issue was it went from pure comedy in the first two thirds to way too dramatic in the last third. Too jarring of a transition.

He starts to have feelings for her, but it really is probably just because she got him out of his shell. She also really starts to like him as well, but I don't think it is quite that way. She was still kinda willing to have sex with him and they almost do (he gets overly excited, basically on her thigh). But what really messes it up is that he overhears that his parents hired her. So he thinks it was all fake, but she insists it wasn't really because she cares for him.

i am oversimplifying but they eventually just become good friends. She gets him out of his asocial shell and he gets her out of her emotionally stunted shell.

And he insists that jizzing all over her thigh counts lol

But if they had actually truly started dating, it would have messed up the point on how they BOTH just needed help. What they did for each other was more than sex.

Also, after watching the movie, my fiance asked if he reminded me of the guys I talk with on gamefaqs. I had to laugh.
