Yeah the fire never left the box. An arc on the main leg melted the top half of the wiring. I flipped off all the breakers to stop the fire.

@questionmarktarius Wings Habs trade today, Petry for Lindstrom and a 4th, so basically Petry for a 4th.

Are either of those guys any good?
I don't remember Petry coming up much.

Petry is 35 so he's a past-prime defender, but still very serviceable. Lindstrom is probably a career AHL defender that may fill in for a dozen games when injuries hit. Habs kept half Petry's cap hit also so he's only on the books for $2.3 million as a bottom pairing guy.

Is Price still out?

I think Price is done, they are gonna roll Jake Allen as the starter probably.

Allen and Monty are decent goalies, but just decent.

I was disappointed when we originally lost Petry.

Allen is inconsistent, but when he's on, he's great.

Obviously I still can, but it was recently removed from PS+, so I have to pay for it now if I want to play it.

I may still check it out. Mabus recommended games are usually pretty solid.

Just an update. We got power back Wednesday night. Now have to get the warranty company to pay the electrician and get the home insurance company to reimburse us for all the spoiled food in the fridge and all the take out we had to buy while we had no power.

Same, I'm too financially invested in it now with enough of a backlog that I don't need another console. I only have like 8 AAA games on Switch and only play it now when we do online games.

4:30am Monday until 9pm Wednesday. Not that bad overall. It's been 95 degrees with shit ton humidity these last two weeks. Slept in the house Monday night sweating the night away, insurance gave us a hotel Tuesday night, and back home Wednesday night. All the food in our two fridges had to be thrown out which was a lot.

Seems pretty bad to me.

The longest I've ever lost power for was about 7-8 hours. It was during that huge blackout in 2003 that affected most of the north east U.S. and Ontario.

Considering I spent those days going into the office with a bunch of ac, it wasn't that bad. That Monday night was the only struggle. Tuesday night was at a hotel. Spent the day Wednesday chilling in the backyard as the electrician worked on the house. Worst thing was having to actually go into the office instead of working from home which is very first world problems. Lol

Finally got my brother to move back into his own godamn house. I had to sit down with him and his godamn gf and explain domestic violence is bad mmk. But I really had to hammer it home with those fucking creeps because if they pull shit shit again, and i'm dead? Then what? I'm not a safety net and if I am alive I don't want the burden. Holiday visits? TOTALLY fine with. Not so and so destroyed the fucking house needs a place to stay until my court date... FUCK THAT.

Not gonna lie, my old cat has been here and her and Crash kinddddda sorta got along but Crash is gonna be missing that fuck with the new cat phase he was into. He'll bounce back though. He'll fuck with me tonight real soon.

@a-c-a-b another great retro FPS remaster on the way, i'll be all over this one.

I played Dark Forces a little bit but it never felt like it was very good after the first few levels. Now Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight. Is the one I never played much, think I have it on GOG. Is a lot better technically and just from my old own studies.

I just remember renting Dark Forces for the Playstation beating a few levels and returning it to the store, it seemed liked it really sucked later hah. I mean at the time the concept seemed can't miss. Just now I am repeating myself, I'd be more excited to try Dark Forces II.

I hear it is running for $130 plus now maybe $200. I need to try that again. Source this website, Wii U board. I own it with the sealed amiibo too. I played the game, but the amiiboo is sealed b/c I didn't care.

I wasn't fond of the game on Gamecube, and didn't like it any more on Wii U.
It was just Ocarina all over again, with the worst parts of Okami.
