Next episode will be about WCW Bash at the Beach 2000. I watched that live as a kid and was blown away at Russo's rant. I 'm so excited for it.

I've actually been thinking about checking that out. I've seen it available on a free streaming service I sometimes use called Tubi.

Haven't really been into wrestling for years now, but that upcoming wrestling JRPG has got me feeling nostalgic for the days when I was into it.

A lot of the episodes are about wrestlers from the late 70s into the early 90s. That was a little before my time but the episodes were still great to watch. Then it goes into japanese and american hardcore feds in the 90s, Eddie/Benoit two parter, the plane ride from hell which took places around 2002.

I liked wrestling in the early 90s as a little kid but the peak of my interest was during my middle school years (96-99).

That was when I watched it religiously every week on TV and was part of a group of guys from school that would get together at one dude's house for the PPV events. I even went to a couple live events in Toronto and Hamilton.

Yea it happens, I left my cats there for my grandpa because he was getting up in years and they loved him.

I remember my favorite cat I even have a picture somewhere where he was a kitten and I was a baby so we quite literally grew up together. The day he died was absolutely devastating to me. That cat was so damn close to me his last night he tried to jump on my bed and I had to help him. I knew something was coming so I was watching tv and I just heard him roll off the bed. I tried to pick him up and rush him over to water or food anything. Nope. Just let out a loud gasp of air and he was gone.

Had a similarish situation with an Australian Shepard that my wife and I had for a couple years. I don't specifically remember how we got her, but we were in the house and she was outside and my wife saw her collapse on the deck. I ran out and she was completely unresponsive. I picked her up and ran to the car jumped in and took off, drove down the highway at like 180km/hr(110mpr) towards the city near our town and like 80km/hr(50) through residential streets to get to an emergency vet, unfortunately she has passed on the ride there.

Fuck come to think about it, my wife and I have gone through like 7 dogs in our relationship(1 died, 2 stolen(fuck one of the stories for a stolen dog is fucked up,) and 3 we had to re-home for various reasons and our current dog that we have now.)

I was going to point out that is not a Canadian term, we call it a two four or a cube.

I don't like cube either but I heard of 2 4 and it sounds reasonable.

@a-c-a-b they dropped a Quake 2 remaster, i'm gonna check it out today, looks solid.

Yup. I saw the topic about it the other day. I haven't played the original but the remaster looks great. I've always been a huge Doom fan but for some reason I never played the Quake games.

I haven't got it yet but I definitely will be.

I had a weird divide with my best buddy growing up, I loved Doom and Wolfenstein, he loved Quake, so I always kind of hated Quake and he hated Doom. Obviously grew out of that later, but I haven't played much of the old Quake either. I think i've played every Doom and Wolfenstein that's come out.

Started playing the Quake 2 remaster on my PS5. It's pretty sweet so far.

I like how the gun sounds come from the speaker in the controller.
