No I wouldn't.

I didn't enlist as a submariner for a reason.

Hell no. I'm already a bit claustrophobic, and combine that with being super deep under water would probably cause a panic attack.

I've taken a submarine tour before as an excursion on a cruise. Once was enough. Once the novelty wore off, it basically felt like going to an aquarium, which is an activity that I find boring. A wreckage would admittedly be a bit cooler, but I'd rather explore something like that on land, where its much safer.

Oh fuck yes. Call it a tin can or whatever, descending for hours and seeing THAT down there is probably unbelievable. This whole thing in general has got me thinking about how incredible that wreckage is, all that distance down there.

Sometimes passion turns to tragedy, but I dont take anything away from their goals.

No

There's really nothing about seeing the wreckage that would be of any value to me.

Honestly?
Yeah, I'd have gone down, because I would have assumed the trip would be safe.

If I knew the risks.... probably not.

Even if safety is guaranteed, I don't know if I even care. I feel like other shipwrecks that are more easy to access are probably equivalent.

Not unless I knew damned well that the submersible could stand up to the intense amount of pressure down on the bottom of the sea, with no risk whatsoever of becoming a death trap.

And frankly, I think I'd still prefer to send some sort of aquatic drone or something down there, if possible, and keep myself above the surface in the wide open air rather than try to jam myself into a cramped little tin can.

I have no interest in seeing the Titanic wreckage at all.

I'd actually be down for a legitimate submersible dive, however I wouldn't go for the Titanic. I'd want to see some ancient city or ruins.

If it was something like the United States Navy or British Navy were hosting an event to bring people down, and they were using their good boats and profesional sailors who know what they're doing? I could probably be convinced by my family and friends to go with them. I certainly wouldn't be doing it because I wanted to go though. It would definitely take some convincing.

I would 100% would not being using this company, seeing as how any basic research into this guy and his business raises about a hundred different red flags. Anything short of the most professionally maintained and piloted vessels would be a hard pass for me.
