Agreed, the deep south is absolutely infected with stupid people.

It's worth pointing out that the minimums that were abolished were nowhere near OSHA recommendations, as in the laws were 10 minutes every 4 hours where OSHA recommends a cup of water every 20 minutes in hot weather.

Alaska might eventually be the most comfortable place in North America. My brother thinks Alaska will eventually have the climate of "the pacific northwest" Washington state and Oregon. And WA and Oregon will be like southern California or worse

Yup. It's why I plan on moving out of the state within the next year or two. Texas is gonna be a shitshow for the foreseeable future.

Perhaps. I'm not too fond of Alaska politics though. I'm currently already very up north myself so hopefully it doesn't get worse.

I work a part time job in a warehouse type job and jesus it was so damn hot here in Dallas from like Monday to Thursday. Never sweat so hard in my life even if I wasn't do anything strenuous. Definitely felt heat exhaustion at times but when I leave Texas I will not miss the heat.

Not sure if that will matter either. I mean have you seen republicans? All the cheating they do? All the voter suppression they commit? Did you see during covid, they put a single drop box for mail in votes per county, when every single other state put multiple. That meant people who wanted to use the dropbox, had to drive for hours and hours just to vote safely.

I would like to make a flippant comment about drag queens but last time I did that I got banned for a month (thanks Irony)
