A lot of therapists offer online only now, I'm wondering how effective it is vs. in-person sessions. Anyone have any experience with one or both?

Imagine feeling comfortable talking to someone in their office. Now imagine how much more comfortable you would be from your own bedroom.

Therapy is just your own stream of consciousness directed by a professional to help you find the root of your problems so you can make changes.

I mean, if you don't let it work, it won't work.

How many different doctors/therapists/psychologists have you seen?

Its not like I actively try to not let it work. I wish it, or anything, would work

Maybe the wrong ones, but also, doing it online is probably not going to work.

Also, precisely WHAT you are being treated or "treated" for matters a lot. It won't work for sure if they are trying to take away the one thing you are good at without understanding anything else. Ones like that are almost worse than nothing since they will only harden you against further treatment, in the event you do need some (not saying you do).
