devs thought that content bloat would save their mediocre game but they just made it worse in a different way

They had to respond to all the online hate that there wasnt enough content so they went balls overboard.

At its heart its still not a very compelling game imo. Im waiting for Starfield.

start on hardcore. it's a rush to stay alive on the first planet (then it becomes joke difficulty once you get materials and upgrade/buy new ship) since you can cloud save and everything.

in the solar system. no one can hear you scream except for those robots who are hostile.

I enjoyed the time I spent with it last year. There is entirely too much to do in that game. Some of it was fun and some of it was kind of dull and ended up being something I never did again. But that's the beauty of this game, you don't even have to mess around with half of the stuff if you don't want to. In the end though the exploration is super fun and I really liked the game.
