Bought SOR4 and the DLC yesterday, tried out survival mode and its so fucking fun.

There's stages from the original 3 games thrown in.

Plus you can unlock alternate skills for the characters to use in other modes.

It was definitely worth the $19 and change for the game and DLC.

I want more side scroller beat 'em ups.

Wish we would get another Final Fight game or Crime Fighters or Brawl Brothers or Peace Keepers.

I'd love to see a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers beat em up game.

Plus now you can play as Estel in the main game. She wrecks.
Too bad they patched the infinite hold button flip.

I've been using Shiva in story mode, he's OP as hell but so much fun. He's the only one that can actually dash without having to do dash attack.

His special move is OP and I'd say more powerful than his star special. Spamming it got me a 150 combo before getting knocked out of it.

Putting poison on your attacks and weapons in Survival is great. Getting to a boss round and having to fight 3 of Max is not great.

Some of the alternate attack options for the original 5 characters (and for the retro streets of rage 1 through 3 characters) is damn good. While I still tend to stick with streets of rage 4 adams default defense special, air special, his alternate blitz, offensive special and star move is really good. Blaze's alternate blitz attack is also mad nice.

Don't forget that the streets of rage 4 DLC also added roo as a playable character. You have to input his classic code to unlock him but if you complete a single level as him then he stays unlocked permanently.

Fighting 3 streets of rage 4 shivas spamming spirit dance also can get pretty ridiculous. Need to give the CPU a cooldown when they spam those special attacks. 3 estels also gets annoying with the repeated streets of rage 1 cop attacks.

Roo is op as hell too, doing his rushing attack just racks up a lot of hits.
