People keep hyping TES6 but honestly, I'm more excited over the next Witcher title. The problem with Bethesda is their stubborn refusal to stop using their depleted Creation Engine. It's just ridiculous they're releasing Starfield at 30 fps cap and even still struggle with performance issues.

If anything, I have a feeling CDPR's next game will be more in line with Cyberpunk's liberating design now that they dont need to follow Geralt. That is, letting you create and customize your own character and maybe even incorporate BOTH third and first person camera views together! If they can add these two features, they'd have finally gotten rid of Bethesda's only unique gameplay features left.

And given their use of UE5 which is far more superior to the Creation Engine, the next Witcher could be incredibly advanced... Honestly, CDPR was already light years ahead with their tech advancement of CP2077 and Witcher 3. They created the first ever RPG with fully realized cities & towns... unlike Bethesda still stuck with their miniscule tiny cities, jaggy NPC animations and loading screens at every door.

Maybe if they released mod tools like Bethesda does.

Yes. Bethesda games are done for. Just like how FF XIV killed WOW and all servers were taken down years ago. People wont stand for buying both.

No.
Nobody seems to be able to create open worlds like Bethesda.
Every copycat just falls short and lacks the same feel.

I hope they take a page out of the tabletop rpg, and let you create female Witchers.

You mean the kinda open world filled with re-used animations and furniture and decoration assets all over, and every single place barred between loading screens and tiny ass cities that look smaller than my school backyard?

I don't know if it'll ever hit the acclaim that the elder scrolls games have (just because they've been around so long and have always been something huge)

But I do hope to see a much larger and more diverse Witcher game. Especially if the modding scene is supported right. Cyberpunk has kinda come into its own with the way its modding scene is now.
