Small post-war house in a suburb, nice fire-pit in the backyard.

Townhouse, for what I paid for this if I lived damn near anywhere else it'd be a good size house with a nice yard, especially with what it's worth now.

I'm 34 and married. We moved in with her dad a few months ago and have been saving almost everything we make so we can put down a sizeable down payment in a couple of years.

He has a 3 bed 2 bath.

Its a nice place and doesnt cost me a penny.

Its just me and the dog that live there but my girlfriend obviously stays over a fair bit.

Before this I owned a 3 bed house in Bristol, England with my (at the time) girlfriend.

Hoping to buy a place for cash in a few years.

A small house, rented. Live with my partner. No kids, just pets (3 cockatiels). It's basically just two long rooms, plus a bathroom. Works for us though. Best thing is it's on solar, so no power bills.

37, I live in my mom's house and pay her rent.

I don't like this small town much, but its hard to beat in terms of affordability. $300 a month, and when she pays off the house, she won't charge me rent anymore. If she keeps the house that long, it'll be mine after she passes away.

32, and own a condo alone in a very nice neighborhood. It's near a bad city though but said community is relativily cut off from it though which is how many of them seem to work the more I'm noticing.

Renting a house. My mom is here but for like the third time she is without a job so I don't see it as I'm living with her as I've stayed employed the whole time and at best I'm splitting bills with her at worst like now I'm paying for everything

I love how much peace I have every day. I can do what I want in my house. I can play my music loudly and it won't bother my neighbors since we don't share walls.

could be worse. just wished my roommate wouldn't give her something she's allergic to. warned him yesterday (it cant have any wheat based foods).

meat/cheese is completely fine.

50s living in a small condo downtown in a major US city.

I like it. Im literally 5 minutes from my work and no matter which outer city area I need to go to, Im close.

15th floor and I face downtown proper, so pretty good view.
