Without wanting everything to rush by? Like rushing through summer to get to the fall, or rushing through weeks but you know your kids are excited to live in the moment at the park or at a party - while you're waiting for a big chunk of vacation time this fall (for example)

The only future I'm excited for is when I get to go to sleep

I have ADHD and anxiety and tend to process everything too quickly while still being stressed about all of it

i recommend mindful meditation and breathing exercises through the day to literally everyone because it allowed/allows me to process what happens in my day more and actually give thought to every little thing, once you feel yourself trying to get through the day I just do my breathing exercise and literally try to take in everything even if its scenery Ive driven past for 20 years

idk if this makes sense

but yeah

I do try to be mindful, make sure to engage my kids daily (tough with teenagers), look forward to the near future, and acknowledge the spent day...

That said doomscrolling between work and bed to get to the next day is almost like time travel. Wake up, coffee, work, lunch, work, dinner, doomscroll, sleep, repeat.
