Unfortunately, possibly, as is true for many countries.

And results in voting for those who were either a major part of the problem, caused it or want to make it worse to help their rich mates.

That's beside the fact that there's also a high probability that the poster I was addressing still lives at home.

I bought a house 3 years ago actually.

Not sure why you think there's a high probability of a 17 year old account belonging to someone that lives with their folks.

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

That the price of living around the country is too high, not properly addressing it may cost Biden his re-election.

Its a real problem, there needs to be discussion & action that isnt taking place.

Trying to fix the situation will help Biden.

Historically, when the working class & lower is suffering, that helps the rise of fascism. Most obvious example: Hitler. He gained attention & power because post-WW1 Germans were suffering.

What do you think the infrastructure bill and student relief were? More jobs being created by the bill and reduced/eliminated other expenses (student debt) helps people in all aspects of their life, housing included. Republican lawmakers cant let people actually be helped in any meaningful way though and saw to that. You think Biden is going to get affordable housing passed with them in the way? Yeah lets blame the guy trying to help people and not those standing in the way of progress.

I actually agree to the point that Biden should campaign on the economy - unfortunately the republicans have no solutions and can't even functionally govern - but have a huge advantage in media perpetuating "conventional wisdom" and the "both sides" narratives.

Republicans also have a distinct advantage of never having to hold to any facts or truthful accuracy. Their base is more likely to turn against a republican politician that tells them the truth.

"Biden isn't doing a good enough job with the economy. Better vote for the fascists who will just destroy regulations protecting us and give tax cuts to the rich." - idiots which is sadly a great amount of the America public. I mean I hate the corporate whore establishment Democrats too, but what other option is there?

At no point have I advocated for voting for Trump or anyone on the right.

Just pointing out economic issues affecting regular people that could hurt Bidens chances.
