This fighting game based on Granblue Fantasy was given out on PS+ at some point but I had already bought it at the time. I never did make it far in the story mode until I decided to beat the game for TrueTrophies' Leap Frog contest, as the influx of PS+ players increased the value of its beat the game trophy... and its platinum, of course, which is a big help for the TrueTrophies contest I'm in now. The platinum is pretty straightforward otherwise, with a few trophies that stand out:
- Get a Luminiera Blade Omega in RPG mode, which either you can get through using draw tickets at an extremely low chance, or play the story mode on Hard up to the final chapter to get the necessary materials to craft one. I was not lucky enough to draw one from the gacha, so I had to play through Hard mode, which with a max level character wasn't that bad.
- Four mission trophies dealing with combos and other tasks. Luckily for combo trials you only have to do 10 and they can be from 10 different characters if need be. The hardest ones are ironically the basic missions, since you have to complete all of them with at least a C rank.
- Use a skill from each character ten times - which is almost always the Super Skybound Art which requires a full special gauge, be under 30% health, and the opponent needs to survive the first hit to see the full animation of the skill. The last part being the most annoying, as usually by the time you can use the skill the enemy usually has a lot of damage as well.
There's already a sequel in the works - I'm not sure if I'll pick that one up since I wasn't too impressed with this game in general. More interested in Relink if that ever comes out!
