They are not bad games at all (p3,p4,p5), they are really good.

But there is way to much time between major story events and combat. Social links lack depth.

I don't know how I feel about the p3 remake.

yea, the pacing was especially bad in P5, where you could have long stretches of no meaningful content.

I actually enjoy how it's seemingly 2 separate games mashed together (turn based RPG + life simulator), although I can understand how jarring it is-- I have bigger problems with the pacing when it shoves you through several days in a row where you can't do anything other than watch cutscenes.

The optimal way to play is to smash the dungeon as fast as possible so you don't have to worry about the time limit, but then like, you have hours of days of doing social stuff to get through. It is a kind of game where the optimal way to play clashes with the most fun way to play, which would be to spread out doing the dungeon stuff, and doing the social stuff.

The non-combat stuff has so many benefits when you get to dungeons that you never feel like they go on for too long, if anything I always wished I had more time.
