Kevin Spacey says there are job opportunities waiting for him the moment that hes cleared of sexual misconduct charges in London. I know that there are people right now who are ready to hire me the moment I am cleared of these charges, the former House of Cards actor told the German newspaper Die Zeit in an interview published Wednesday. The second that happens, theyre ready to move forward, Spacey said. Its a time in which a lot of people are very afraid that if they support me, they will be canceled. He again denied the accusations against him in his interview with Die Zeit, saying, The moment scrutiny is applied, these things fall apart.

Thats what happened in the Rapp trial, and thats what will happen in this case, Spacey said, referencing the 2022 verdict in a civil trial brought against him by actor Anthony Rapp. A New York jury found that Spacey didnt sexually abuse then-14-year-old Rapp in 1986. Spacey was fired from House of Cards in 2017 following accusations that he sexually harassed members of the Netflix shows crew. Last year, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled that Spacey and his production companies had to pay the makers of the series more than $30 million due to losses as a result of his firing. In 10 years, it wont mean anything, Spacey said of the allegations against him. My work will live longer than I will, and thats what will be remembered.

He's one of the greatest actors of all time. He's absolutely done though. No one will hire him again. At least no one important.

Not a total waste. He gave us decades of great performances. They're are probably loads of talented actors who get blacklisted before they ever make a splash bc they are creeps.

George Takei had a similar accusation against him and it was proved to be a lie relatively quickly. He also didn't act like a total creep upon being accused.

Spacey's sexuality was an open secret and he decided to respond to the allegations by officially coming out of the closet and being like, "Isn't my coming out of the closet the bigger story here, not these allegations?" He didn't say that, but it was the vibe of his whole response.

Even if he were innocent (and I don't think he is, way too much smoke for there not to be fire there), he shot himself in the foot by acting like the cat who ate the canary.

Kevin Spaceys trial is still yet to happen?

He needs to hurry the fuck up and give House of Cards a proper send-off before accepting any of those offers (that will probably won't come) first.

Every response he's given in relation to these types of allegations has been awful. His agent needs to get him to stfu and let them organize properly crafted statements.

He was clear of wrongdoing in that trial? I didn't know that. I always liked him so I'm glad to hear he didn't do what he was accused of.

I hope so. I love Spacey. Such a great actor.
