Normally after a night of sleep the phone drops maybe 1% in battery. Occasionally a lot more and Idk why. I did a Playstore and Malwarebytes scan and nothings detected. I saw today it dropped last night from 93% to 77%. I kinda thought yesterday it was dropping a little faster. Anyway to find out why, think its anything to worry about? Please help, thanks.

Recommend some anime, preferably completed series or in the least, series that feel like they ended well.

Never download third party virus scanners/cleanup apps on phones. They do more damage then help.

Phone losing 1-3% over night is normal. Could be a matter of things like more notifications coming through, or app updates.

@ogurisama

1%-3% is what it typically is, last night was more like 20% roughly. 93% down to 77% I believe, was alarmed.

I would assume app update downloads?

@ReturnOfFa

Doesn't seem to update unless I go in Playstore and do so myself.

Its unlikely malware or anything related? Only thing I do on the phone is stream anime from a 3rd party anime site on the Brave browser, I never downloaded anything on it or anything like that. Besides the Brave browser, an authy app, and Malwarebytes.

Just plug it in each night. When else would you charge your phone? I thought everyone charged their phone each night.

Sounds like time to experiment.

Try again this time, see if it also drops 20% (to see if it was a one time update or scan). If it happens again, do it a third day except put the phone in airplane mode.

If by morning 4 it's dropped 20% then it's an app trying to do something. If it's only dropped 1%, then it's an app that failed to connect online to do something (like an update).

If airplane mode made the drop to 1%, check to see your power settings and turn background data off. This will cause apps like Facebook or Discord to lag (like you won't receive notifications until you open the app, and even then your posts might not instantly appear until minutes later).
