Also IIRC they're pulling a Reaper of Souls and not offering it on the previous gen.

Considering how RoS was huge for D3 getting over its release stigma, it's a solid move.

This makes me very excited.

So they're kinda fixing stuff that should have been fixed before launch, but got overshadowed by the bigger issues it released with, and selling it to you as DLC

They haven't said this is part of the paid DLC.

Was the original content broken or not fun? Its weird to revamp that much in the base game.

Fallout 3: Broken Steel and The Witcher 3: Blood & Wine also introduced notable revamps that ranged from combat/skill improvements, inventory management, and general quality of life improvements. It's definitely not new territory for games to get major upgrades in a big expansion.

Regarding the content being broken/boring, it did have a fairly messy launch but the game has been completely playable (on PC and current gen, anyway) for quite some time. In terms of quality, I enjoyed but I did feel they could have done "more" with the setting. Car combat and the new heat system will definitely add a welcome element to the game, particularly if it works as intended.

How about changing the game to Shadowrun.

Could care less about the police system. Them advertising the game to be like GTA was the biggest mistake they made (besides the terrible PS4 and Xbone ports).

Just finished it on PS4 a few days ago. Only issues I had was enemies not loading right away if I ran at top speed to the next scanner mission. Could have used it to my advantage by grabbing the items since they weren't there to detect me yet. Did lead to some funny moments where I parked my car then the enemies cars loaded in the same location causing a real mess before I could throw grenades everywhere.

I just came in to say whoever voices her was the absolutely right choice for Female V. She sounds exactly like she should in every voiceover.

I got this game on PC as a Christmas gift a while back and still haven't played it yet. I've been thinking the past couple weeks how I really need to play it, but I've been trying to finish other games first. Man, if they are revamping the base game, I kinda want to get on it ASAP so I can know what's different after the revamp lol.

I can't wait to beat the brakes off of adam after what he did to my boy david. I might go for a hacking build this time around -- first build I went melee/heavy weaponry

I actually just started a playthrough. Might put in on hold then.

I think the biggest thing the game needs is more opportunity for roleplaying. A lot of the "choices" end up hollow and realising that all the effort you put into actually creating a character was for naught is pretty discouraging.

I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Not sure if they'll utilize it, but both Steam and GOG offer pretty easy ways to use old versions of games. Easy workaround for that.

Is this a dlc, or is this a revamp of the original game?
