charge of MCU/Avengers.

Since Agents of Shield was literally helmed by his brother and I think sister in law, early agents of shield had more obvious references to the greater MCU, and hell Avengers 2 was the closest the show ever got to becoming canon, with Fury implying that he got the helicarrier at the end of the movie from Coulson's shenanigans in AoS.

But that was it. After Whedon was out and the Russo brothers took over MCU/Avengers, the show never came even close to being in the same universe as the movies. Oh they tried, they still definitely tried. But it became super obvious after a certain point that the show was desperately grasping to be included, but most fans came to like the show as its own thing.

Just think it's funny that you could make a joke about nepotism as to AoS and MCU in the beginning

I wouldn't mind seeing Gabriel Luna come to the MCU as Robbie Reyes, if they were to pull someone from it at least.

He was in charge of the TV division, including AoS.

Ike Perlmutter was in charge of Marvel TV (and the overall larger Marvel brand) while Kevin Feige handled the movies. Perlmutter and Feige famously did not get along, and that's the reason why Marvel TV wasn't incorporated with any of the other MCU stuff. Perlmutter was also the reason for that weird Inhumans push and why X-Men and F4 were pretty much absent from comics and merchandise.

At some point, Feige threatened to resign unless Disney took away Perlmutter's control over Marvel Studios.

Aha so he's responsible for the Inhumans push all those years ago. Honestly with xmen at the time still being under Fox I can see his reasoning with trying to make discount xmen the big thing, I even remember they were gonna have a straight up movie for them instead of the garbage that we got. It's just everything else he did that was terrible

How did I not know Ward was the traitor it's so obvious on rewatches. He literally shot the fake clairvoyant in cold blood, how did his treachery and shooting victoria hand come as such a gut punch to me on first watch.

It's so damn obvious, I must have been thrown off by all the other red herrings happening at the same time with the rest of the team.

And maybe I was suckered by his charm. Was pretty grossed out when May was sleeping with Ward though even before the turn it was pretty uncomfortable.

I like when the chick with super speed gets robot arms that dont have super speed and they halfway rip off when she tries to use her powers.

Hopefully she doesnt need a pacemaker later in life.

Her hands being neatly and symmetrically cut off somehow by that other dumb broad's frisbee weapons was the dumbest shit ever. God I loathed season 5, though season 6 is objectively the worst.
