Because I'm not an asshole and they were barely perceptible bites.

Except one, when I was 10-11 y/o and my brother's girlfriend's dog bit me on the thigh. That piece of shit was centimeters away from taking one of the family jewels out for good, but the girlfriend's dad basically gaslit both me and my brother into thinking it wasn't a big deal.

I had a little nip on my finger once from a 13 year old weenie dog. She was just sniffing, sniffing, then nip *barkbarkbarkbark*

Was my brother's gf's dog. Took months to win her over finally.

Yeah I got bit by their dog and it got infected for a few days. It was pretty annoying to mend >_>

I didn't sue, it just happened

First time was my shithead neighbors Golden that was always super aggressive at his tiny gate. Got out, chase me down and bit me in the ass. Didn't get through my jeans.

Second time my next door neighbor's chihuahua decided attacking our other neighbor's super sweet rottie was a good idea. The rottie thought he found a new toy. I saved the stupid rat dog who proceeded to bite the shit out of my hand/wrist.

Bitten, yes. Sued, no. And it was funny too, because I went over to their house to chat with them about their dog barking incessantly, and another dog I didn't even know they had came out of nowhere and bit me on the back of my leg.

Yeah I got a little messed up by a dog that was part wolf, but I didnt sue because I was a dumbass and should had known better than to let it happen.

I was drinking with an old friend who invited me into the dog kennel while he was refilling the dogs food bowl. The dog approached me and decided to leap at my neck. It got my arm instead which its tooth went right into the skin and it tried to drag me down, but the friend came over and was able to get it off me. The friend proceeded to beat the dog as it tried to attack him and then decided to put a bullet in the dog and let it bleed out.

I cleaned the wound in the sink and was treated at the after hours clinic, but I was so in shock and traumatized from it I didnt even consider suing cause the dog suffered enough and ultimately I only had myself to blame for what happened to me.

The friend is no longer a friend and I never spoke to them again afterwards. I probably should had sued for giving a minor alcohol and inviting me into the cage, but he was part of a bigger friend circle I was apart of and I was too young to know any better.

there's ways to put a dog down humanely but not by bullet.

I dont even think it should had been put down. Its not the dogs fault it wasnt trained and I entered into its cage. The owner and myself screwed up.

Unless that dog bite did genuine serious harm, suing over it is pretty frivolous.
