If I didn't have to go to sleep for work I'd just keep going. No idea how long this patch story is but it's been radical. They really did stop 1.0 right before it popped off.

My gameplay brain is screaming at me to pull for Blade for the 5* Wind damage dealer. My note sensible brain is telling me I don't give a fuck about Blade.

I'll hold back and hope that Black Swan does good damage whenever the hell she comes out.

Oh, and I caught up. It's not THAT much story but what's there is great. I suppose Genshin players probably had a better idea of how much we'd be getting. Going to be a rough boss in Echoes of War!

Don't worry, I have Himeko and you aren't missing much. She is INSANE if there are multiple fire-weak adds but she's underwhelming in single target. She NEEDS lots of weakness break happening for her follow ups. Jing Yuan is so much better as an Erudition unit because he always has his summon.

If you just need a fire support unit don't sleep on Asta. Speed boost, attack boost, and shreds the stagger meter.

I haven't leveled my Asta past 60 because it's just too expensive and she's low priority...I was getting good use out of her before though

Actually now that I go through it, the boss of SU7 is an ideal boss fight for Himeko. Finally. She's ok in SU6 too but that fight is just rough in general.

So ok, that's one good use for her. Especially if that dude is gonna start showing up in MoC.

I think people have gradually come around to the realisation that Erudition in general is the most underwhelming Path - without exception. Even Jing Yuan is probably the worst limited character so far due to how he gets speed gimped. Granted this is probably nitpicking to the extreme, they're all still fine units (other than Herta being very mediocre). You're just unlikely to see them in the most optimal MoC team comps.

Optimized the logic behind Bronya (Harmony: Wind) and Tingyun (Harmony: Lightning)'s ability usage when auto-battle is on during combat.

Tingyun no longer spams her skill on every wave change! She's usable again! I can't tell how Bronya is different yet

Ohhh, my Bronya is still slower than my DPSes, I haven't found good boots for her, so spamming her skill is usually not bad for me

The problem I have is that Bronya is constantly ending up, like, 4 turn points ahead of Seele, making boosting Seele a stupid idea. My Seele's Speed is WAY overturned though. She has Gold Speed Boots when putting additional speed on her is like the worst think you can do for synergy and damage optimization.

I'm at 64.3. I am gonna grind for Relics so God damn hard at 65. I did a single run on the Wind and Ice Relic banner this morning and managed to get Gold Speed Ice Boots and took that as a sign to stop lol.

So the quest I just did revealed that this is not a bush, but it a tree they accidentally stuck way below the floor line. Looking forward to that patch note.

Oh dang the new 4 star in 1.3 looks extremely good for Clara. I'm going to have to try and snipe her. Too bad she'll probably be on Fu Xuan banner, I have no interest in her.

Lynx, a Quantum healer whose skill also gives a taunt effect to Preservation and Destruction characters. Basically combines Nat+March's roles, sounds very useful.

I am DESPERATELY hoping I get all the 4* I need on the Kafka banner (1 more Serval for E6, at least 1 Sampo and Luka) so I have plenty of leeway to pull for Lynx on Fu Xuan's.

If we're lucky she'll be one of the free units in 1.4 or 1.5, but I'm not gonna count on it.

Free unit in 1.3 is Sushang, so we can't assume a new unit will always be the free one.

Also apparently 1.3 is the last Luofu chapter which makes sense, though I guess it's news that 1.3 will have more MSQ. I just assumed it would be every other patch.

I do have Bailu but I'm not spending my Kafka pulls sorry can't fool me I already know I'm losing the 50/50

I lost my 50:50 to Bailu on Silver Wolf so I get a guaranteed Kafka which has me excited. Hoping I wont fail a coinflip for Topaz though

I might be one of the few left here to have not pulled for any limited character yet. Knowing I have enough pulls saved up to be guaranteed Kafka even with the worst luck possible does feel good though.

Got enough silver tickets for a standard banner 10 pull and got Herta's light cone for the first time (I just want Dance Dance DAMMIT).

After slotting it onto Herta (I try and slot in my light cones long before I actually level the character to get a feel for where I wanna end up), I realized that there's not a single Erudition character in the game who doesn't benefit more from a specific 4* light cone than Himeko's 5* signature, including Himeko herself (not that I have her).

What a piece of shit this thing is lol.

I'm so glad Himeko's trial exists now, since seeing a high end Himeko and Herta in action without ever having to build them myself is the stuff of wonders.

I should have said fuck it and pulled on Luocha's light cone banner until I got it.

At least I would have built pity towards a theoretical 5* light cone I actually wanted that badly someday.

The other 4* I'm missing is Perfect Timing, which I could take or leave.

Perfect Timing is imo, the best Abundance light cone (or the best 4* at any rate).

You can have all the HP scaling or Outgoing Healing in the world and it won't matter one bit if your Natasha is cc'd and can't ult to save your DPS from getting sniped out.

Man you weren't kidding, I got sucker punched and pretty much had to do the final phase with two characters. Gonna have to get carried by supports for this one.

Yeah it's not sooo bad if you bring in a super good Support. Thankfully the elemental spread means that all 3 Harmony characters with a damage buff are viable, so you can pick any one of them to directly buff Jing Yuan with the right timing to nuke (and if you have a Welt or Blade to sub DPS as well then proooobably Yukong is best there? Not so good with the math yet. Actually if you have Asta's light cone built the Tingyun with it may be best with Jing Yuan regardless.)

Depends on the Team comp but it's considered one of the best Harmony cones. BiS for Tingyun, good for Yukong, great on Asta though you've got a lot of wierd math to do there given she's already speeding up the team. Great on Bronya but obviously her Signature is better, and I'd say Past and Future (which is just a weaker version of her signature) is probably more optimal as well.

I've got Tingyun at 60 and am not going to build her until I get Dance, even if she's an S Tier unit.

Of course, Carve the Moon is just a universally good Harmony light come where who it's on doesn't even matter, so that's always there as a backup. And then Planetary Rendezvous is a card you just put in your pocket to bust out for specific content and teams.

I think my Bronya has Past and Future and Yukong has Carve the Moon.

Don't sleep on the 3* Meshing Cogs as a viable cone for Harmony as a backup. I've actually locked my most recent pull of one so that I can have 2 of them at S5.
