So how far plot wise do I gotta be for the Silver Wolf events? I shouldnt have been slacking on advancing the plot, but I was really hoping the console release was coming a lot sooner oops

The notice at least says the only requirement is Trailblaze level 21.

Oh wait its this Museum one that I cant do yet due to not being far enough. Hopefully finishing Jarilo is enough otherwise I gotta power through everything after that too

I can't imagine there's a thing you would need besides finishing Jarillo, but I don't know for sure.

Memory of Chaos I'm not even sure is meant for people who have reached TB50, lol. I mean I can scrap by a couple with 0-1 stars but it really feels like this is a stretch until you have level 80 characters.

And the thing is, yes, I could do this easier if I had Bailu or Gepard, but that wouldn't get me the stars, it would just help me get through it through raw survivability. The actual goal of MoC is high DPS.

Investigating this Memory of Chaos stuff and I have a sneaking suspicion that this content is not intended for people who have not reached Trailblaze level 50 and only have one healer...

It pretty much hard requires a second defensive unit, which is limited to Gepard or Bailu currently. It's a huge problem, and also why Luocha is getting so much hype.

Genshin has an equivalent of this and being able to max it out is an extremely long term grind goal and/or whale bait. Don't worry about it too much and just take whatever you can get from it.

Now the Screwllum is a 5* Imaginary there's no way I'm pulling for Luocha, not that I wanted him all that much in the first place.

Now the museum is making me wait TWO DAYS for the next quest NFKSBDJSNJFNKSJDNKDN

My problem is that almost all the characters I want are one of the three DPS paths, besides SW and Kafka who are Nihility but they're kind of like pseudo-dps too (and I'll need to be very lucky to get both anyways). There's very few Preservation, Harmony, Abundance supports I am interested in.

I lucked out by getting Gepard and can just pick Bronya from the standard banner in 500 years but it's not very exciting

I don't really know who I'm going to be pulling for. There's a bunch coming up I'm kind of interested in but no one that really jumps out at me. I might just throw a few 10-pulls at all of them and see what falls out.

Not gonna use her, at least for a while, but I guess it's good not to have zero Destruction characters.

Typically theyre adjusted during betas. Cant speak for their other games, but for Genshin I think only 1 character was ever altered after release and he was buffed

I was thinking more along the lines of Herta, and to a lesser extent Hook, buffs.

Hook does have her uses though, in a mono fire she actually can be pretty strong with the burn boosts, and technically I think fire is the only mono party currently available until Blade gives us 4 wind?

Herta does not seem to serves a purpose at all, though. I have yet to find a tier list where she isn't both at the bottom and in her own category as such.

Buffs in Genshin usually come via releasing artifacts with better set bonus that indirectly boost character strength, or new characters designed to support old ones. Zhongli is the one rare exception where they specifically adjust a character's kit post-release and apparently it was a huge fiasco that caused it.

Still struggling to hit 50 and get the next equilibrium level.

Herta was actually nerfed from the beta where she was a little too good, but they were probably a little heavy-handed with the nerfs. I wouldn't hold your breath for buffs for a character you can get multiple copies of for free though. For a Genshin comparison, the Anemo Traveller and Amber were mediocre on release and have never been buffed since, so they've always been in a state of "use them only if you have nothing better", but I guess at least Genshin has exploration passives which gives (Amber at least) some kind of utility.

Just hit 50. Jeeze, people weren't joking about the increase in cost to do anything character related.

Museum done, I finished with literally 1 day left before I would have been time gated again.

I just started the museum mode. It's a blatant ripoff of like a dragons management mode, but luckily for them I loved like a dragons management mode. It's very enjoyable

Oh, no, I mean I've got a full set of Gold Quantum gear. I mean I need to synthesize a pair of Quantum damage boots to have speed as a primary stat because that's apparently a huge game changer.

Are there any other sets of gear that are just worthless I can salvage the gold currency from? How about the 2 piece sets?

Very few of the 2-pc sets seem to be getting used right now. The ones from SU3 (that buff individual and team attack) seem to be the most universally good, I've been spam farming that one every week. The others are all niche or bad. The crit damage one seems awful. The effect hit rate one seems good for Nihility units.

For the most part you're gonna want elemental damage on globes (besides some supports that don't do much damage) so you can probably scrap almost everything with a different main stat. Chains I think ATK and energy recharge are the ones to save

I haven't finished yet but I'm sure my score is terrible because I had like 5 or so times where I accidentally hit the "start day" button on my controller before I had actually finished setting things up

You can also go around the map for a few hours every day and kill literally every mob and get enough experience after several months

Is it weird that Bronya is the good character that Im having the most trouble fitting into my teams?

Jing Yuan doesnt want Bronya because Bronya doesnt buff the Lightning Lord guy and can make you overlap stacks. Yanqing needs Gepard to not get hit, so you cant really throw Bronya in, because then Yanqing will get too many turns, the shield will fall off, and hell get hit by an AoE. (I did just get speed boots for Gepard, though, maybe that fixes it)

Maybe Qingque + Silver Wolf + Bronya + Nat could be a thing? It feels like Qingque wouldnt get to use her skill enough. Who knows, I guess Ill mess with it. I am appreciating Nat more recently.

Bronya exists for Seele both in and out of battle.

I dont have Seele, but is that an anti-synergy sometimes, too? Like Seele has so much speed that Bronya advancing her turn isnt as effective as other buffs would be? Or does that not come up so much in practice?

No, it just means Seele gets infinite turns. At that point, you might as well have an AoE Seele. She can kill something first turn, then kill another, then Bronya gives her more turns, and she should also have enough energy to ult by now, even if she started at 0. It's absurd.

Looking into the details, the exp book grind isn't quite as bad as I feared because the blue books add up fast. But it's still 3-4 days of max level calyxes to get enough for 70-80, and about the same for 0-70.

Still pretty hard to justify using energy on much else besides hoarding books right now, but at least I can work on boosting some other characters too while I wait.

Im at TB58, and at the very least, anyone at level 60 who I havent ascended yet is staying there until next equilibrium level. Looks like I have two characters left that could get EXP books and then itll all go in the bank. Then Ill be at nine level 70 characters, thats not bad.

I mean yeah I could get the exp books yeah yeah yeah

But.....I have Astra and Serval at 60 who I could ascend for 2 more tickets which would get me another Silver 10 pull.

So I'm doing that first.
